College of Osteopathic Medicine Adjunct Faculty - Instructor. The College of Osteopathic Medicine is seeking a passionate, student-centered Adjunct Faculty Member to teach and support courses within its medical curriculum. This opportunity is ideal for an educator with expertise in Spanish and medical terminology who is committed to creating engaging learning experiences that prepare future healthcare professionals to communicate effectively with diverse patient populations.

The role includes leveraging innovative teaching strategies, contributing to curriculum development, and fostering a dynamic online learning environment to promote student success.

• Teach and facilitate courses within the College of Osteopathic Medicine curriculum, developing engaging course materials, maintaining a strong online presence, and providing timely communication and support to students and faculty.
• Enhance student learning through innovative instructional strategies, continuously evaluating and implementing effective teaching methodologies to promote academic success and engagement.
• Contribute to curriculum quality and continuous improvement, using assessment data and feedback to refine course content, instructional approaches, and student evaluation methods while participating in faculty development and required university training.

• Faculty should hold a graduate degree in Spanish with demonstrated mastery of Spanish and medical terminology. A doctoral degree is preferred.
• Familiarity with innovative teaching methodologies and effective student evaluation methods.
• Candidates located in Iowa are preferred; however, applicants from Wisconsin, Illinois, Missouri, or Indiana may also be considered.
