WestPart-Time Event Host

We are looking for reliable, outgoing Part-Time Event Host to join the West
48 team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, creating a great guest experience, and being part of events.

Event Hosts will help ensure West
48 events run smoothly from setup through the end of the event. This is a flexible, part-time position with the opportunity to work weekday evenings and weekends, based on the event schedule.

• Arrive prior to events to help prepare and set up the space
• Welcome clients and guests and provide excellent customer service
• Help ensure the event space stays clean, organized, and ready throughout the event
• Assist with basic AV and technology setup as needed
• Help with food, beverage, and other event needs
• Monitor the space and assist with questions or requests from clients and guests
• Communicate with the West
  48 team regarding any event needs or issues
• Help with event breakdown and resetting the space at the conclusion of events
• Assist with opening and closing the space
• Provide a friendly, professional presence and help create a positive experience for every West
  48 client
• Assist with our duties as needed

• Must be available for weekday evenings, generally starting around 3:30 p.m. through 10 p.m., as well as weekends
• Reliable and dependable
• Friendly, outgoing, and comfortable interacting with clients and guests
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Able to work independently and take initiative
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced event environment
• Able to lift/move event supplies and assist with setup and breakdown
• Previous hospitality, event, restaurant, or customer service experience is a plus, but not required
