Job Summary

We are looking to add an Accounts Receivable Accountant to join our Finance team in West Des Moines, IA.

Essential Responsibilities
  • Accurately process basic cash receipts using prescribed workflows and systems with assistance from leader.
  • Perform basic day-to-day financial transactions including verifying, classifying, computing, posting, and recording cash receipts data.
  • Research and resolve simple issues/discrepancies associated with cash receipts in a timely manner and appropriately communicate with internal and/or external parties when necessary.
  • Assist with premium financing for clients with external premium finance companies.
  • Assist with daily reconciliation of cash receipts and deposits.
Qualifications
  • Education:

    High School Diploma required;
    Accounting degree preferred.
  • Experience:

    0-2 years accounting experience preferred; insurance agency experience is a plus.
