Staybridge Suites West Des Moines is looking for a dependable, hardworking Room Attendant who takes pride in doing things the right way.

This is a great fit for someone who likes staying active, working independently, and being able to see the results of their work at the end of each day. Our housekeeping team plays a major role in the guest experience, and we are looking for someone who understands that a truly clean room matters.

We are not simply looking for someone to fill a position. We want someone who is reliable, efficient, detail-oriented, and able to consistently meet our standards.

• Starting pay: $15.00 per hour
• Typically 32-40 hours per week
  , depending on hotel occupancy and business levels
• Approximately 5 days per week
• Shifts begin at 8:00 AM
• Employees finish after their assigned rooms and daily responsibilities are completed
• End times will vary depending on how busy the hotel is
• Open availability is required
• Must be available to work any day of the week, including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays
• This is not a Monday-Friday position
• Hours may vary from week to week and 40 hours are not guaranteed

As a Room Attendant, you will be responsible for making sure guest rooms are clean, comfortable, and completely ready for our guests.

Responsibilities include:

• Clean and prepare guest rooms according to hotel standards
• Change linens and make beds neatly and consistently
• Thoroughly clean and sanitize bathrooms
• Clean kitchen areas, countertops, appliances, and other surfaces
• Dust furniture, fixtures, and room surfaces
• Vacuum carpets and mop hard floors
• Remove trash and replace liners
• Replace towels, toiletries, and guest supplies
• Check your own work before leaving each room to make sure nothing has been missed
• Keep housekeeping carts, equipment, and work areas clean and organized
• Report maintenance problems, damage, or unusual room conditions promptly
• Respect guest belongings, privacy, and hotel security procedures
• Assist other members of the housekeeping team when needed so the day's rooms are completed

Previous hotel housekeeping or professional cleaning experience is preferred, but it is not the only thing we consider.
Reliability, work ethic, attention to detail, consistency, and willingness to learn are extremely important to us.

This is an active position. Room Attendants regularly:

• Stand and walk for extended periods
• Bend, reach, kneel, and move throughout guest rooms
• Push and pull housekeeping carts
• Lift and carry linens, supplies, trash, and other housekeeping items
• Perform repetitive cleaning tasks throughout the shift

Applicants should be comfortable performing the normal physical duties of hotel housekeeping throughout the workday.

Housekeeping is one of the most important departments in our hotel. Guests may never meet the person who cleaned their room, but they immediately notice the quality of that person's work.

We want employees who take pride in that responsibility.

You'll have:

• A daytime work schedule beginning at 8:00 AM
• Approximately five shifts per week
