General FunctionThis position provides day-to-day administrative support to the department to assist in recruiting efforts, targeting organizations to provide appropriate candidate prospects. Assist management with recruiting activities, including telephone contacts, setting up and confirming appointments, bulk mailings, advertising, sourcing, and the internet/social media. This role requires effectively multi-tasking while providing excellent customer service and building solid working relationships with prospects and the recruiting team.

Positions that Report to you:

- Assist management with recruiting activities that may also include telephone contacts, setting up and confirming candidate appointments, bulk mailings, advertising and the Internet.
- Schedule appointments for Director of Recruiting and Recruiting Specialists. Facilitate event registrations.
- Order and coordinate recruiting supplies.
- Assist in setting up job fairs, events and other recruiting activities as appropriate and requested by firm management.
- Gather company material to support recruiting efforts.
- Generate and communicate recruitment reports.
- Maintain recruiting tracking system.
- Sourcing applicants for all areas using indeed.
- Assist screening applicant applications and scheduling interviews.
- Post positions to external sites as requested. Attend career fairs and job fairs as needed.
- Reports to work when scheduled and works expected number of hours.
- Works in conjunction with our Training and Education and Human Resource teams to develop and coordinate the annual Hy-Vee Career Fair.
- Performs other job-related duties and special projects as required.

High school diploma or equivalent required; 3+ years related work experience
Physical Requirements- Visual requirements include: ability to see detail at near range with or without correction.
- Must be physically able to perform sedentary work: occasionally lifting or carrying objects of no more than 10 pounds, and occasionally standing or walking.
- Must be able to perform the following physical activities: stooping, kneeling, reaching, handling, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing and repetitive motions.
The duties of this position are performed in a general office or retail setting. There is weekly pressure to meet deadlines.
