Our client, a leading organization in the technology and data management sector, is seeking a Data Center Technician - I&A Logistics Support 2 to join their Operations Department in support of the Data Center Logistics team. The ideal candidate brings strong problem-solving skills, high attention to detail, and a proactive, team‑oriented mindset.
Location: West Des Moines, Iowa
Pay Range: $25-$28/hour
Shifts: Day & Night
- A Side: Sunday-Tuesday + every other Wednesday
- B Side: Thursday-Saturday + every other Wednesday
- Day Shift: 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM
- Night Shift: 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM
- Perform physical inventory tracking and staging to ensure accurate data management
- Coordinate and execute incoming and outgoing deliveries, including purchase order receiving and rack movement activities
- Monitor data center systems for equipment failures or performance issues and respond appropriately
- Assist with inventory cycle audits, data corrections, and compliance activities
- Handle destruction of data‑bearing devices following established procedures and runbooks
- High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
- 2+ years of experience in warehouse, supply chain, or related fields within an IT environment
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word)
- Prior data center experience preferred
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and communicate clearly
