This is a W-2 contract opportunity, and candidates must be able to work on our W-2 only. NO C2C or 1099.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Operations Consultant to support enterprise print and document delivery systems within a complex, integrated technology environment. This role focuses on print operations, system integrations, and document lifecycle management, requiring strong hands-on technical expertise and deep familiarity with print ecosystems.
The consultant will play a critical role in supporting ongoing transformation initiatives, including print modernization, outsourcing, and digital communication strategies, while ensuring operational stability across multiple integrated systems.

- Print operations support:
Drives execution across Transactional Print Outsourcing Readiness, letter digitization, and print aggregation initiatives - System integration:
Supports integration of print processes with Electronic Customer Communications Management (ECCM) - Application support:
Provides hands-on support for DocD and PJADF applications to ensure stability and continuity of print operations - Technical proficiency required:
Strong working knowledge of Jira, DocD, Print Delivery Hub (PDH), and Ricoh Process Director (RPD) - Data & file expertise:
Solid understanding of Mail Run Data Files (MRDF) and how they flow through print production processes - Operational knowledge:
Familiarity with the inner workings of the company's print facilities and end-to-end print lifecycle - Self-starter mindset:
Able to quickly ramp and operate independently with minimal direction in a fast-paced environment - Analytical capability (preferred): SQL proficiency to support data analysis, troubleshooting, and operational insights.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide hands-on technical support for enterprise print platforms, including:
- Ricoh Process Director
- Print Delivery Hub
- DAK/DAKD (document tracking and reconciliation system)
- Additional print-related applications
- Troubleshoot end-to-end print workflows, including:
- Data ingestion and transformation
- Print composition and spooling.
- Mail processing and distribution
- Investigate and resolve production issues, including data mismatches and processing errors
- Support integrations across ~20+ interconnected systems using:
- APIs and service-based architecture
- Kafka-based messaging integrations
- Analyze and track document lifecycle events from creation through print and mail delivery
- Work closely with upstream partners in Enterprise Content Management and downstream print systems
- Contribute to key strategic initiatives, including:
- Print Outsourcing Initiative (standardization of architecture, materials, and processes)
- Letters Digitization Initiative (transition from print to digital delivery)
- Assist with onboarding and integration of new platforms such as Enterprise Customer Communications Management (ECCM)
- Perform configuration and light development work across print and tracking systems
- Collaborate within Agile teams using tools like JIRA
- Support enhancements, defect resolution, and production releases
- Apply knowledge of print and mail operations, including:
- Print file formats and spooling
- Mail run data and insertion processes
- Print floor operations and workflows
- Partner with print vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery
Required Qualifications:
- Strong hands-on experience in technical operations within print systems
- Deep understanding of:
- Document lifecycle tracking
- System-to-system data flow and integration
- Production print environments
- Experience troubleshooting complex, integrated applications
- Familiarity with:
- Service-oriented architecture and APIs
- Kafka or similar messaging technologies
- Ability to quickly ramp up and operate independently with minimal oversight
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience with:
- Open Text Exstream/Dialogue or similar document composition tools
- Mainframe print environments (JES2/JES3)
- Ricoh Process Director or similar print management tools
- Experience in financial services or regulated enterprise environments
- Basic SQL proficiency (querying, troubleshooting, data validation)
