We’re looking for a Market Leader who can take ownership of the overall health and growth of a local market. This is not a traditional technical leadership position, and we are intentionally looking beyond one specific accounting background. The right person may come from public accounting, private industry, CAS, outsourced CFO/controller services, audit, tax, or another financial leadership environment.

What matters most is the ability to lead people, build relationships, understand the numbers, improve operations, and grow a business.

• Proven experience leading people and creating accountability
• Strong business and financial acumen
• Experience managing revenue, profitability, budgets, financial performance, or a P&L
• Ability to understand the operational and financial drivers of a business
• Confidence building relationships with business owners, executives, clients, and community partners
• Demonstrated ability to identify and pursue business-development opportunities
• Strong client-service mindset with the ability to retain and expand relationships
• Operational mindset — someone who looks for ways to improve how work gets done rather than simply maintaining existing processes
• Strong communication, judgment, organization, and decision-making skills
• Ability to navigate performance conversations and make difficult decisions when necessary
• Entrepreneurial mindset and genuine ownership mentality
• Desire to lead a market while remaining connected to meaningful client work
