Maintenance Technician / Mechanic, Welder / MIG/MAG/TIG
Martin Marietta is currently looking for a motivated, maintenance orientated Sr. Welder at our Des Moines Shop location. This position will be responsible for welding, fabricating, cutting and miscellaneous mechanical work for our Des Moines District operating plants. This position will be working in underground mines, surface quarries, sand plants and our maintenance shop.

- Ability to troubleshoot, repair and maintain plant equipment
- Ability to work in outdoor environments and in elevated areas
- Ability to weld, cut and perform minor fabrication on plant equipment
- Mechanically inclined to use a wide variety of hand tools and power tools
- Proactive in Safety and works well in a team
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Willing to travel 60% of the time
- Other duties as assigned
- High School Degree
- Previous welding/fabrication experience
- 3+ years related experience
- Valid driver's license
- Skill Trade Certification(s).
- Bi-Lingual is a plus
In addition to the primary responsibilities outlined, the successful candidate may be expected to take on other tasks and assignments as required, including but not limited to duties outside the typical scope of the role to support overall team operations and organizational needs. Flexibility and adaptability to evolving job demands are essential.
