We are looking for a Terminal Operator to join our West Des Moines, IA location. As a Terminal Operator with Quikrete Heavy Construction Materials you will oversee product receipt, storage, and shipment, while coordinating logistics with internal teams, customers, and transportation.
Responsibilities- Coordinate rail and truck receiving, loading, and dispatch, maintaining accurate inventory records.
- Perform maintenance on equipment.
- Collect product samples for quality assurance and report supply or quality issues.
- Operate mobile equipment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude.
- A minimum of 2 years industrial, mechanical, or manufacturing experience.
- Experience inspecting and performing basic repairs on equipment.
- Logistics or inventory management experience.
- Good organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Mobile equipment experience is a plus.
- Mechanically inclined.
