Production Worker

Move forward with Volt! Volt is hiring multiple Production Workers for an aerospace company located in West Des Moines, IA.

This is a full time position. Multiple shifts available!

• Set up and operate testing equipment to inspect nozzles, spray bars, and valves for spray quality, flow, and angle according to specifications.
• Operate production equipment, including laser markers and printers, following established procedures and quality standards.
• Record test results, spray parameters, and product performance data by serial number while maintaining accurate production documentation.
• Assist with the assembly, calibration, repair, and disassembly of mechanical components and sub-assemblies under supervision.
• Follow standard operating procedures, quality requirements, and safety guidelines to ensure compliance with company standards.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and support workplace safety programs.
• Work collaboratively with lead technicians, supervisors, and engineers to resolve issues and complete production goals.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong manual dexterity and ability to perform assembly and calibration-related tasks.
• Basic computer skills, including email, internet use, and the ability to learn manufacturing software and work instruction systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, prints, and work instructions (or willingness to learn).
• Basic math, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a manufacturing environment.
• Manufacturing experience preferred but not required.
• Willingness to work overtime, extended shifts, non-standard schedules, and occasional holidays as business needs require.

Pay Rate: $18 - $20 per hour

* Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
