Outpatient Orthopaedic OR RN – OOSC, West Des Moines, IA

Job Type: Full-time, Monday‑Friday, no weekend or call coverage. Eligible for a $2,000 sign‑on bonus.

• Deliver high‑quality nursing care to patients undergoing outpatient orthopaedic surgery.
• Maintain a safe and sterile operating room environment before, during, and after surgery.
• Perform thorough patient assessments required for the outpatient setting.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
• Assist with the preparation and maintenance of the operating room.
• Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and physicians.
• Work on your feet for extended periods, remaining organized and adaptable to change.

• Current, unrestricted license to practice in Iowa as a Registered Nurse.
• Active BLS certification; ACLS and PALS preferred.
• Prior experience in orthopaedics or an ASC preferred, but not required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills; ability to handle high‑stress environments.
• Flexibility to work scheduled cases from Monday to Friday.
• Ability to prioritize tasks with minimal supervision.

• Associate’s Degree or higher in Nursing or a related field.
• Technical or other training in Nursing or a related field.

• Registered Nurse license in Iowa.
