An opportunity for growth and leadership at Des Moines Orthopaedic Surgeons, P.C.! This is a full-time, Monday - Friday position, is on-site at our West Des Moines office. As the Triage & Patient Experience Supervisor, you will listen and respond to patient concerns, assist with onboarding new providers explaining the role of the triage team, and support the Triage team by maintaining procedures, and providing back-up to the team.

You will work onsite in office at our West Des Moines office.

What You Can Expect
  • Listening and responding to patient concerns received from direct calls, live transfers and patient surveys. You will act as a provider liaison to advocate for patients when needed.
  • Plan and maintain policies and procedures of the Triage Team. Communicating and administrating scheduling processes, coordinating department activities to develop and implement goals and objectives.
  • An on-site point of contact for Physicians and team members. Assist with onboarding new providers and explaining the patient experience to create a smooth transition into DMOS.
  • We are a fast-paced, specialized environment of supporting patient care by communicating with the provider team of Physicians and Physician Assistants, via electronic medical record system, secure messenger systems and/or phone to ensure appropriate clinical advice is given based on current protocols.
What We’re Looking For
  • Active RN License in good standing with experience in supervision.
  • An individual with growth opportunities as person of influence in prior roles.
  • Professional communication skills as you will be working with providers to plan and carry out procedures for handling patient concerns.
  • You practice the art of listening, asking clarifying questions, and avoiding interrupting your patient.
  • Ability to provide support to staff members to ensure patient concerns related to pre and post-procedure care are handled in a timely fashion.

Education Required

Associates Degree or better in Nursing.

Preferred

Bachelor Degree or better in Nursing.

Masters Degree or better in Nursing.
