Travel RN - Labor & Delivery 3x12 Nights REQ:67740 (Full Time)
Location:
West Des Moines, IA
Pay Rate:
Up to $77/hr. combined (taxable hourly + tax-free allowances for travel, housing, meals). Rates may vary and are subject to change.

Labor & Delivery / Post Partum / Mother Baby RN
Shifts:
12hr
Provides comprehensive care to mothers and newborns during labor, delivery, and postpartum.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor fetal heart rate and maternal vitals.
- Administer pain management (e.g., epidurals) and assist during vaginal or C-section deliveries.
- Conduct postpartum monitoring and newborn assessments.
- Educate patients and families on labor, delivery, and newborn care.
- Identify and respond to complications.
- RN license in state of assignment
* Compact License Allowed
** Must have taxable address outside of 50 miles from facility** - BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, and AWHONN certifications.
- Experience in labor & delivery or maternal-child nursing.
- Hospital settings (Med-Surg units, post-op recovery, step-down).
- Physical demands include standing, lifting patients/equipment, and stress management.
