Join our healthcare partner's dynamic team and make a difference in the lives of families. As a Labor & Delivery nurse, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care to mothers and their newborns in a supportive and collaborative environment.
- Provide comprehensive care during labor, delivery, and postpartum stages
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, including vital signs and fetal heart rates
- Administer medications and drips such as magnesium, insulin, and pitocin
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Educate and support patients and their families throughout the birthing process
- Float across all campuses as required
- Need 2 years experience in setting
- Experience in Postpartum, Mother-Baby, and Labor & Delivery care
- C-section and vaginal delivery experience, including triage
- Intermediate or Advanced EFM / AWHONN certification
- Active Iowa or compact/multistate RN license
- AHA/American Heart Association or ARC/AMERICAN RED CROSS BLS certification
- AHA/American Heart Association ACLS certification
- NRP certification
- Must have completed at least one travel assignment in the previous 12 months
