Registered Nurse
This position requires a shift from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, including every other weekend and holiday based on the needs of the unit. The candidate must be willing to float to the West Des Moines campus as necessary.
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team. This role involves providing high-quality patient care, administering medications, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Candidates should be prepared to work in a fast-paced environment and must possess a commitment to patient safety and quality care.
Responsibilities:
- Provide and coordinate patient care, ensuring compliance with clinical protocols.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by a physician.
- Monitor patient progress and communicate changes to the healthcare team.
- Educate patients and their families about health conditions and treatment plans.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Current RN license required.
- Completion of a Trinity specialty-specific competency testing, as required.
- Proof of vaccination history including COVID-19 vaccine, MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, and Tdap.
- Two-step PPD or IGRA (Quantiferon/Tspot) test documentation.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check.
Assignment Duration:
This is a 13-week contract position.
