Registered Nurse (RN) - Med-Surg Float Position
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a Med-Surg float position. The ideal candidate must be flexible and willing to float to various medical-surgical floors, including Orthopedics, Neurology Step Down, Oncology, Surgical Telemetry, and more. This position requires a commitment to patient care across multiple disciplines, ensuring that all patients receive the highest quality of care.
Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients on various medical-surgical units.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to communicate patient needs effectively.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, documenting findings accurately.
- Float between designated units as required, adapting quickly to new environments.
This position requires a shift from 07:00 AM to 07:30 PM, with every other weekend and holiday commitments.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure- Current RN licensure required.
- Experience in med-surg nursing preferred.
- Ability to float to various units and adapt to different nursing environments.
- Completion of required health screenings, including drug screens and immunizations.
This is a 13-week contract position.
