Registered Nurse (RN) - Med-Surg Float
This position requires availability for night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, including working every other weekend and holiday.
We are seeking a dedicated and flexible Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in a med-surg float role. The RN will be expected to float across multiple med-surg floors, including Ortho, Med-surg, Neurology Step Down, Oncology, Surgical Telemetry, and Med-Surg Tele. The position also requires willingness to float to the West Lakes Campus, which is approximately 9.5 miles from downtown.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care across various med-surg specialties.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor patient progress and maintain patient records.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Float to different units as needed to meet staffing requirements.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Current RN license is required.
- Ability to comply with health screening and background check requirements.
- Experience in a med-surg environment is preferred.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
Assignment Duration
This is a 13-week contract position.
