Registered Nurse (RN) - Med-Surg Float

This position follows a night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with every other weekend requirements.

The Registered Nurse (RN) will float to various medical-surgical floors, providing nursing care across multiple specialties including Orthopedics, Neurology Step Down, Oncology, Surgical Telemetry, and Med-Surg Tele. The RN must also be willing to float to the West Lakes Campus, located 9.5 miles from downtown.

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in various medical-surgical settings.
• Administer medication and perform necessary medical procedures.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members for optimal patient outcomes.
• Monitor patient conditions and report significant changes to the healthcare team.
• Educate patients and families on health management and disease prevention.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Current and valid RN license.
• Must meet all health clearance requirements, including drug screening and immunizations.
• Experience in a hospital setting, particularly in med-surg nursing, is preferred.
