Job Overview

Nordstrom Rack is looking for high‑energy team members to work across the Sales, Customer Service, Stock, and Fulfillment departments. The role involves maintaining a clean, welcoming store environment and delivering a seamless customer experience.

• Sales Floor
  :
  Keep the sales floor "runway ready" through daily re‑merchandising and straightening.
• Cashiering
  :
  Operate the point‑of‑sale system for in‑store, online, and mobile transactions; bag items of all sizes and handle bulky or heavy merchandise.
• Fitting Room
  :
  Act as a fitting room attendant, greeting customers, assisting with fitting room use, and returning clothing to the floor.
• Stockroom Management
  :
  Keep stockrooms organized, check merchandise in, and ensure accurate ticketing.
• Technology
  :
  Demonstrate proficiency with all in‑store technologies.
• Promotions
  :
  Promote Nordstrom Rewards and other store initiatives.
• Stock / Support & Fulfillment
  :
  Receive, unload, unpack, and deliver freight to selling departments; fulfill and ship customer orders with quality standards; maintain inventory control using the inventory management system.
• Store Support
  :
  Assist with special events, backroom organization, markdowns, and relocation of store fixtures.

• Clear, effective communication and strong interpersonal skills.
• Accountability, initiative, and high level of ownership.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
• Flexibility to work a scheduling that meets business needs.

• Continuous movement for 6‑8 hours per shift, including bending, twisting, squatting, flexing, and reaching.
• Frequent use of hands for grasping, manipulating, pushing, and pulling.
• Handle bulky items, including lifting up to 25 pounds (up to 50 pounds in Stock/Fullfilment positions).
• Regularly lift items weighing up to 10 pounds; occasionally up to 25 pounds.

$16.05 - $16.70 per hour, depending on location, experience, and job-related skills.
