Operate the cash register and process payments including cash, checks, credit cards, coupons, food stamps, WIC checks, rain checks, in-store charges, and lottery transactions;
Provide prompt, friendly customer service by greeting customers and assisting them throughout the store;
Count back change, issue receipts, and provide refunds or credit memorandums for returns;
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal guidelines regarding WIC, food stamps, tobacco, liquor, and lottery tickets;
Stock, face, rotate merchandise, and assist with displays; maintain checkout and store cleanliness; assist in other areas as needed
