As a Security Officer Patrol Specialist in West Des Moines, IA
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access awareness throughout the property. • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and conditions that may require attention.
• Monitor access points, observe visitor and employee movement, and help deter unauthorized entry and policy violations through visible presence and professional interaction.
• Support day-to-day operations by maintaining detailed activity logs, communicating relevant updates, and following post orders and banking location procedures.

• At least 2 years of security-related experience.
• At least 21 years of age.
• Guards card and/or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Participation in a background investigation is required in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screening is required to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.
