Apartment Maintenance Technician

Job Description

As a Maintenance Technician, you will assist with the day‑to‑day maintenance operations of the community, including:

• Completing service requests in a timely and professional manner
• Troubleshooting and repairing plumbing, electrical, and HVAC issues
• Appliance repair and replacement
• Painting, drywall repair, and general carpentry
• Preparing apartments for new residents (turns/make‑eadies)
• Maintaining building systems and common areas
• Assisting with preventative maintenance programs
• Participating in an on‑call rotation for emergency maintenance

Ideal candidates will have:

• 1‑3 years of experience in the hotel industry or multifamily housing preferred
• Strong customer service skills and general computer knowledge
• Demonstrated experience in plumbing, electrical work, appliance repair, and painting
• Experience in plumbing, contracting, builder certification, or related licenses is considered a plus
• Availability for on‑call responsibilities and flexibility to work weekends as needed
