Your Impact

What You'll Tackle

• Diagnose and repair hydraulic, electrical, diesel, and mechanical systems on municipal equipment (refuse trucks, sweepers, sewer units).
• Execute scheduled maintenance and preventive service to minimize breakdowns.
• Evaluate complex failures and recommend repair strategies and parts.
• Weld and fabricate parts/attachments as required for reliable repairs.
• Accurately document findings, labor, and parts on work orders.
• Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe workspace.
• Assist with other shop responsibilities when needed.

What You'll Need

• 1-3 years of hands-on experience repairing heavy or municipal equipment.
• Practical knowledge of hydraulics, electrical systems, and mechanical assemblies.
• Competence in basic to intermediate welding and fabrication.
• Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving ability.
• Detail orientation with a strong commitment to safety.
• Ability to manage priorities independently and meet deadlines.
• Capacity to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
