PSV Technician

We are currently recruiting experienced PSV Technicians to join a busy and professional engineering team based near London Heathrow Airport (TW6).

This is an excellent opportunity for technicians skilled in heavy vehicle maintenance with a background in either electrical or mechanical repairs to join a growing company and enhance their skills.

The role will be shift based working a 4 on 4 off rota including approximately 4 night shifts per month (1 night shift per rotation).

As a PCV Technician, you will be responsible for the inspection, maintenance, servicing, and repair of buses, coaches and heavy goods vehicles
, ensuring the fleet is compliant with all relevant safety and regulatory requirements.

You will work collaboratively with the wider engineering team to minimise vehicle downtime and support operational excellence.

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance and servicing.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults including accident repairs, minor welding, body and chassis repairs.
• Conduct vehicle inspections and safety checks.
• Complete all maintenance records accurately.
• Ensure vehicles meet DVSA and company compliance standards.
• Respond to breakdowns and repair requirements as required.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within the workshop.

• Previous experience as a PSV, HGV, Bus, Coach or Commercial Vehicle Technician
  .
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
• Relevant technical qualifications (
  NVQ level 3, City & Guilds or equivalent)).
• Good understanding of health and safety requirements.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
