Responsibilities- Provide administrative and transactional support to the Accounting team across a variety of accounting functions.
- Assist with data entry, invoice processing, account reconciliations, and other routine accounting activities.
- Prepare and process journal entries while supporting general ledger reconciliations.
- Organize, maintain, and file financial records, including invoices, receipts, statements, and supporting documentation.
- Assist in preparing financial reports by gathering, analyzing, and verifying financial data.
- Identify, research, and report discrepancies to support accurate financial reporting.
- Compile and organize documentation for internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with accounting staff and cross‑functional departments to support financial operations and resolve issues.
- Gain practical experience using accounting software, financial systems, and reporting tools in a professional business environment.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information while demonstrating professionalism and attention to detail.
- Apply foundational accounting knowledge to support day‑to‑day financial processes and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills and Abilities
High School diploma or equivalency is required. Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business with a minimum GPA of 3.5.
