Traveling Field Engineer

We are seeking a proactive Traveling Field Engineer to help oversee site activities, ensuring compliance with construction standards, quality, and safety. In this role, you will assist our project managers and superintendents in coordinating efforts and managing site operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in plan reviews and assist with site logistics, phasing, and field kick-off preparation.
• Ensure readiness of preconstruction elements including codes, schedules, safety requirements, and documentation.
• Communicate project schedules and maintain the 3-week lookahead to support proactive planning.
• Monitor on-site construction activities for compliance with design specifications, codes, and safety standards.
• Support field operations and assist with subcontractor coordination, including prep meetings, QA/QC, and delivery management.
• Contribute to punch list development and completion, as well as final close-out documentation.
• Review drawings and specifications; manage electronic documents and uploads.
• Coordinate RFIs, daily reports, project photos, and maintain SWPPP, HAZCOM, signage, hot work permits, and safety plans.

Qualifications

• An associate's degree in construction management or a related field and a minimum of two (2) years of construction experience is required. In lieu of a degree, four (4) years of relevant construction experience is required.
