Skilled Grounds & Construction Lead

Express Employment Professionals of Fargo, ND is seeking an experienced, hands-on individual for a Skilled Grounds & Construction Lead position. This role is ideal for someone with previous construction experience who can work independently, take ownership of projects, and potentially lead a small crew.

The position involves a variety of outdoor maintenance, construction, and seasonal projects. The ideal candidate has experience in areas such as concrete, framing, general construction, or related skilled trades.

• Perform lawn mowing, grounds maintenance, and outdoor property work
• Complete and assist with construction projects from start to finish
• Perform hands-on work involving framing, concrete, carpentry, and general construction
• Read and follow project plans and instructions
• Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently
• Assist with material planning, staging, and job-site organization
• Work independently with limited supervision
• Help direct and coordinate a small crew when needed
• Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to quality standards
• Maintain clean and organized work areas
• Perform seasonal snow removal and winter maintenance
• Assist with other projects and duties as needed

• Previous construction or skilled labor experience required
• Experience with concrete, framing, carpentry, or similar construction work strongly preferred
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in the field
• Leadership experience or the ability to direct a small crew preferred
• Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Able to perform physically demanding work
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred
