Salary
:
Full daily rate equates to $200.00/day. Will receive a $130 bonus after completing 10 full-time substitute days in the district – Does not need to be consecutive days. Bonus payment will follow the next payday after the 10thfull-time day has been paid.

SUMMARY
:
The Building-Based Substitute Teacher covers the absence of the educator while providing instruction and assistance to learners and managing classroom activities and behaviors. The Building-Based Substitute Teacher creates an engaging, nurturing, and safe learning environment that allows learners to develop their physical, social, and emotional wellbeing; providing instruction in academics, choice ready skills, knowledge, and dispositions to be compassionate, lifelong-learners, and contributing citizens in a rapidly changing world.
Location:
There are multiple openings across the district for the Building-Based Substitute Teacher role (one per building). The hired individual will be assigned within their building on each learner-contact day to provide substitute coverage.
Schedule:
Schedule follows the operation hours for the applicable school setting. The workday begins 15 minutes before learner contact time and ends 15 minutes after learner contact time.
