Portfolio Administrator
First International Bank & Trust is seeking a Portfolio Administrator to support our Commercial Lending team. This role partners with Commercial Loan Officers to service business relationships and provide exceptional customer support.
As an extension of the lender, the Portfolio Administrator helps address customer needs, maintain financial information, and monitor portfolio activity. This is a strong fit for someone who enjoys working with business customers, has solid financial and analytical skills, and wants to grow in commercial banking.

Success in this role requires strong relationship-building, follow-through, curiosity, and ownership. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with business customers, managing financial information and deadlines, and supporting portfolio details with accuracy and care.
Key Responsibilities
- Support Commercial Loan Officers in servicing commercial banking relationships.
- Serve as a primary customer contact for day-to-day requests, documentation, and account servicing needs.
- Review financial statements, tax returns, collateral information, and other credit-related documentation.
- Assist with commercial credit requests by gathering information and preparing supporting materials.
- Monitor financial reporting requirements and loan-related exceptions.
- Maintain accurate customer and portfolio information with timely follow-up.
- Partner with lenders to strengthen customer relationships and identify additional banking solutions.
- Assist in monitoring credit quality and potential portfolio concerns.
- Coordinate with internal teams to support a seamless customer experience.
- Build strong business customer relationships with professionalism and responsiveness.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; experience in commercial banking, credit analysis, lending support, financial services, or a related field preferred.
- Ability to analyze financial information and understand basic commercial credit principles.
- Strong organization skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with lenders and support teams.
