Systems Engineering Support AnalystLocation:
Tinker AFB, Oklahoma (On-site)
This role supports a team providing sustainment and modification services for the United States Air Force (USAF) E-4B aircraft fleet. The position is a combination of analyst and warehouse functions, focusing on managing unserviceable parts, processing purchase requests, and tracking material status. The analyst will interface with engineering teams, supplier management, and government personnel to ensure operational effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities- Process Purchase Requests (PR) and coordinate with Supplier Management for Purchase Order (PO) placement and status.
- Serve as a liaison between the Supplier Management and Engineering teams.
- Verify part requirements by reviewing technical orders, parts lists, and drawings.
- Coordinate the disposal of scrap and parts with the government customer.
- Review aircraft modification drawings and technical orders to recommend disposition for spare parts.
- Research obsolete parts, materials, and tools required for aircraft sustainment.
- Manage and submit monthly equipment calibration purchase requests.
- Work within the Gold system to manage parts for the air force.
- Generate job orders and perform physical inventory counts.
- Issue parts to technicians and process part turn-ins (serviceable/unserviceable).
- Monitor Do-In-From-Maintenance (DIFM) parts.
Education:
Applicable and appropriate educational or certification credentials from an accredited institution or equivalent experience is required.
Citizenship: U.S. Citizenship is required for this position.
Other:
The position requires the ability to acquire base access.
- Experience in Air Force supply processes.
- Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated self‑motivation and initiative.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Proficient experience with Microsoft Office applications.
This is a full-time, first-shift position located on-site. The standard work hours are from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM. Overtime may be expected. Domestic and international travel are not required for this role.
