The Janitorial Technician is responsible for daily cleaning, ensuring quality standards, and supporting a safe and efficient work environment.

• Perform housekeeping and janitorial duties to maintain offices, restrooms, and public areas in clean and orderly condition.
• Remove trash from offices and other work areas; strip and wax floors; clean and maintain carpeted floors; scrub ceramic tile floors.
• Assist other service personnel with minor facility service repair; follow established routine.
• Use hand tools and cleaning machinery daily such as floor sweepers and brooms.
• Work all shifts including holidays and weekends as demanded by the job.
• Maintain personal tools required for your job.
• Meet physical requirements of the job; maintain good attendance in accordance with Company policy.
• Perform assigned tasks in a safety, effective, and efficient manner.
• Accurate and timely administrative duties including time accounting and work order completion.
• Maintain positive customer and employee relations.

• Previous janitorial or custodial experience required.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques, chemicals, and equipment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.
• Must pass background check and drug screen.

The employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts; high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals; risk of electrical shock and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to extreme heat and extreme cold, wet and/or humid conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually very loud.
