Assembly Technician
Day Shift: 6:00am-4:00pm Monday-Friday
Starting Wage: $23-$28/HR DOE

SummaryThe primary function of this position is to assemble door operators and components, as well as handle the shipping, packing, and loading of doors. This role supports the installation crew by ensuring doors function properly and that the correct materials are prepared for each job. The position also requires maintaining a clean and organized work area and collaborating with other departments to ensure quality and efficiency.
EssentialDuties
- Assemble doors and complete packing lists
- Assemble motors, brakes, control panels, and other operator components
- Ability to operate forklift, overhead crane and telehandler
- Common knowledge of hand/power tools and other fabrication equipment
- Ability to communicate across departments
- Have some background in electrical (will train)
- Testing of assembled components to ensure functioning properly
- Troubleshoot issues with non-functioning operator components
- Assist in production or field positions as requested.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by Management.
- Maintains a high level of quality to eliminate mistakes.
- Operate with Passion, Energy and Enthusiasm.
- Always remain safety conscious.
- High level of attention to detail and organization.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Must be self‑motivated and self‑sufficient.
- Ability to read and interpret job specs.
- Sound judgment, decision making and problem‑solving skills in all situations.
- Ability to effectively communicate in English, both orally and written, to ensure a clear understanding of work instructions and safety protocols.
- Have prompt and reliable attendance.
This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities.
Education and ExperienceHigh School or GED required, and 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred or; an equivalent combination of education and experience to successfully perform the essential responsibilities and duties as listed above.

This position requires some travel.
