  • Swing a hammer for extended periods to securely pound metal plates into wooden trusses and ensure structural integrity.
  • Work on wall panel or truss builder tables that are approximately 3 feet high, including frequently stepping or jumping on and off the tables to assemble trusses properly.
  • Read and interpret tape measurements accurately to cut and assemble materials according to specifications.
  • Collaborate with team members in a fast-paced shop environment to meet daily production goals.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, including tools, materials, and workstations.
  • Follow all safety procedures and use tools and equipment in a safe and responsible manner.

  • Proficiency with common construction tools such as hammers, nail guns, and other hand and power tools.
  • Physical ability to swing a hammer forcefully and repeatedly to drive metal plates into wooden trusses.
  • Capability to safely work on and around 3-foot-high truss tables, including stepping or jumping on and off them throughout the shift.
  • Comfort working in a physically demanding role that requires standing, lifting, and repetitive motions for up to 10-hour shifts.
  • Experience working in a team environment within construction or manufacturing settings.
