Licensed Practical Nurse; LPN Day Shift Eventide Sheyenne Cross

Eventide Sheyenne Crossing Senior Living Apartments in West Fargo, ND is looking for a Full‑Time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to work the day shift (7 AM–7:30 PM) and alternate weekends and holidays.

• Assesses residents’ needs and health status through physical assessments, observations, and interviews on a continuing basis.
• Provides individual attention, encouraging each resident’s ability to maintain or attain the highest physical, mental, and psychosocial well‑being.
• Observes and follows residents’ plans of care; updates and makes appropriate changes whenever necessary, including interdisciplinary care plans, physician orders, and C.N.A/NA‑R care plans.
• Administers medications and treatments and monitors both for effectiveness.
• Provides direct nursing care to residents whenever necessary and in accordance with nursing policies, procedures, and standards.
• Complies with rules and regulations set forth by the Minnesota or North Dakota Department of Health and the Center for Medicare/Medicaid Services.
• Maintains accurate documentation in the residents’ electronic medical record according to established policies and procedures.
• Assists in orientation and training of new team members.
• Reports resident needs, problems, and observations regarding residents’ conditions to the Charge Nurse and/or attending physician.
• Ensures adequate staffing levels for scheduled shifts and corrects inadequacies appropriately.
• Monitors the activities and functions of subordinate staff, including participation in the disciplinary process.
• Ensures that subordinate staff complete their responsibilities thoroughly and accurately within scheduled shifts and according to established resident care policies and procedures.
• Provides information, education, and support for assigned residents and their families.
• Communicates resident needs to resident care staff in the unit as appropriate.
• Interacts with physicians and other health‑care facilities as needed, according to the residents’ needs.
• Continually updates nursing skills and knowledge by attending in‑services, continuing education programs, and staff meetings.
• Coordinates and participates in resident care conferences and communicates information effectively to families.
• Assumes responsibility for promptly reporting any incidents or evidence of abuse, neglect, or violation of residents’ rights per policy.
• Is accountable for managing an electronic timecard on a daily basis.
• May be required to carry out or assist with other tasks in addition to the duties listed, in accordance with the team philosophy and Eventide’s commitment to quality resident care.

• Must have an active North Dakota LPN license or be able to obtain one upon hire.
• Must currently be in good standing in all states in which you have ever been licensed as a nurse in the U.S.
• Current certificate in CPR/BLS required.
• Experience in long‑term care preferred, but not required.

Comparable starting pay range of $26.00–$29.12 per hour, based on qualifications, experience, and location. Shift premiums and differentials may be available for select positions and on a shift‑based or employment‑status basis.
