We are seeking a proactive, detail-oriented, analytical, and highly organized Sales Support Specialist to join our team and help drive earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) growth. In this role, you will collaborate with sales and marketing teams to provide pricing guidance and support bid opportunities. This includes administrative and operational tasks, coordinate with internal teams, and ensuring a smooth sales process from lead to close.
You will serve as a key link between the sales team, and operational execution to help manage the full order cycle and manage pricing and margins to ensure profitability. The ideal candidate thrives on high-volume activity, possesses a strong business acumen, and is comfortable with both administrative tasks and sales processes.
This is an on-site, office-based position located at our West Fargo site.
Essential DutiesEducation and/or Experience
- Bachelor's or Associate degree in business, marketing, or a related field preferred, or equivalent relevant work experience.
- A minimum of two years of experience in sales support, inside sales, or administrative roles within a fast- paced environment.
- Prior experience with cold calling, lead generation, and negotiation.
- Strong analytical skills with an understanding of basic accounting and financial principles.
- Proficiency in CRM platforms (Salesforce preferred) and the Microsoft Office Suite programs, with advanced skills in Excel.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication, relationship management, organizational, and time management skills.
- Strong persuasion and negotiation skills with the ability to build rapport and influence decision‑makers without face‑to‑face contact.
- High level of resilience and self‑motivation, with the ability to persist and perform in a results‑driven environment.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee is required to perform keyboarding, phone pad, and ten‑key skills. The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds.
