What You’ll Do- Lead and perform audit engagements from planning through completion
- Prepare and review audit work papers, financial statements, and supporting documentation
- Evaluate internal controls, accounting processes, and financial reporting
- Identify accounting and audit issues and develop appropriate solutions
- Work directly with clients and internal stakeholders to gather information and resolve questions
- Review the work of Staff and other Associates and provide constructive feedback
- Assist with complex accounting and technical research as needed
- Help ensure engagements are completed accurately, efficiently, and in accordance with applicable professional standards
- Develop strong relationships with clients and serve as a trusted resource
- Contribute ideas and process improvements to strengthen the audit function
- Support and mentor less-experienced team members
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 3+ years of audit experience, preferably within a public accounting environment
- Strong understanding of US GAAP and auditing standards
- Experience managing multiple engagements and competing priorities
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team
- High attention to detail and a commitment to producing quality work
- CPA or progress toward CPA certification is preferred
