Senior Accountant

Our client is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their growing and highly respected accounting team. The Senior Accountant will play an important role in the monthly close process, financial reporting, account reconciliations, and day-to-day accounting operations while working closely with the Controller and broader leadership team.

• Assist with the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes
• Prepare and analyze journal entries and account reconciliations
• Assist with preparation of financial statements and internal reporting
• Analyze inventory, manufacturing costs, and variances
• Support the budgeting and forecasting processes
• Assist with fixed asset accounting and reconciliations
• Help identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and internal controls
• Work closely with operations and other departments throughout the organization
• Assist with audit preparation and other special projects as needed

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 3+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Manufacturing, inventory, or cost accounting experience is a plus
• Strong understanding of GAAP and general accounting principles
• Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical abilities
• Experience with an ERP system preferred
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work both independently and collaboratively
