We are seeking a Senior Audit Associate to join our accounting team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced audit professional looking to take the next step in their career while working alongside a collaborative team and gaining exposure to a diverse client base.
The Senior Audit Associate will play an important role in planning and executing audit engagements, working directly with clients, and mentoring junior team members.
What You'll Do:- Perform and assist with audits, reviews, compilations, and other assurance engagements
- Prepare and review financial statements and supporting documentation
- Assist with audit planning, risk assessment, and engagement execution
- Identify accounting, auditing, and financial reporting issues
- Communicate directly with clients and develop strong professional relationships
- Supervise, mentor, and review the work of junior staff
- Work closely with Managers and Partners throughout engagements
- Ensure engagements are completed accurately and within established deadlines
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
- 2+ years of public accounting audit experience
- CPA or CPA track preferred
- Strong knowledge of auditing and accounting principles
- Experience working with a variety of clients and industries is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work both independently and collaboratively
