Job Description:We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Automotive Diagnostic Technician to join our team in West Hartford, CT. In this role, you will serve as the primary diagnostic specialist on the shop floor, handling complex mechanical and electrical troubleshooting while maintaining standard repair excellence.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:- Perform advanced diagnostic evaluations using OEM and aftermarket scan tools, scope meters, and technical reference materials.
- Accurately diagnose complex drivability, electrical, module, and mechanical issues on a wide variety of vehicle makes and models.
- Recommend clear repair solutions and collaborate closely with service advisors to communicate technical findings to customers.
- Lead quality control efforts and assist/mentor team technicians on complex diagnostics.
- Maintain accurate service records while adhering to strict safety and quality standards.

- Strong background as a Lead Technician, Master Technician, or Diagnostic Specialist in an automotive repair facility.
- Advanced proficiency in modern vehicle electrical systems, computer diagnostics, and engine performance troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with OEM and aftermarket diagnostic software and tools.
- ASE Certifications preferred (or equivalent technical training/experience).
- Valid driver's license with a safe driving record.
- Strong communication skills and a team-first mindset.
