The Associate Customer Success Manager (ACSM) focuses on lifecycle engagement management of CDW‑supported solutions, coordinating across sales, pre‑sales, services, and channel teams to plan, organize, and execute customer success strategies ACSM analyzes customer environments, entitlements, and onboarding needs to guide actions throughout the solution lifecycle, developing strategic relationships to influence service adoption and engagement and acting as a trusted advisor.
Responsibilities- Establish a trusted relationship with each assigned customer and drive continued value of technology solutions.
- Identify phased upsell and cross‑sell opportunities for solutions, services, and CDW services.
- Engage multiple customers proactively, responsively, and collaboratively with account management.
- Orchestrate strong buy‑in with internal and external teams, maintaining close connections with solution SMEs.
- Manage software licensing, entitlement, portal, and conversion activities.
- Coordinate, plan, and execute customer onboarding sessions.
- Lead large‑scale digital touch engagements and campaigns.
- Facilitate frequent consultations and communications, conduct gap analyses, and report on usage to promote customer loyalty.
- Act as the Voice of the Customer to advocate needs/issues across departments and vendor partners.
- Demonstrate advanced insights into customers’ businesses and industries.
- Develop adoption strategies for new products and features.
- Drive faster time‑to‑value and improve overall customer experience.
- Leverage CDW solutions and services to increase internal and customer efficiency.
- Drive renewals across the assigned customer base.
- Encourage customers to act as references to support field business.
- Participate in internal projects and initiatives.
- Employ tools and processes used in the Customer Success role.
- Continuously improve processes and share knowledge with peers.
- Provide data analysis using customer, internal, partner, and provider information.
- Oversee partners and providers as required.
- Associate’s degree in IT, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 2–5 years of experience in IT relationship, project, or account management (Cisco experience preferred).
- Prior Customer Success experience or equivalent technology area expertise.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including IT terminology for diverse audiences.
- Ability to balance multiple priorities, adapt to changing needs, and meet deadlines.
- Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Capability to build and maintain positive working relationships at all organizational levels.
- Proactive collaboration, initiative, and creative problem‑solving skills.
- Willingness to travel up to 10% or as needed to CDW locations or client sites.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- IT knowledge and familiarity with technology, software, and licensing programs.
- ITIL Foundation certification.
- End‑user experience with Salesforce CRM.
- Experience with Gainsight or similar Customer Success toolsets.
- Analytical and data‑driven mindset.
- Comfort with new technology and continuous learning.
- Strong teamwork skills and independent work capability.
Pay range: $62,000 – $86,910 depending on experience and skill set. Annual bonus target of 25%, subject to plan terms and conditions. Benefits overview: CDW Benefits. Salary may be affected by geographic differentials.
