This part‑time project / limited‑term position has an estimated duration of up to 12 months, unless otherwise amended or terminated as deliverables within this project are completed.

The role is responsible for supporting various Production units within NBC Sports and serves as a first line of support for Production that runs 24/7.

Responsibilities
  • Familiarity with Content Metadata and/or Enhanced Descriptive Metadata entry & editing
  • Supporting on‑air Production teams with external media tape loads & equipment loans
  • Assisting with onboarding of new clients for content acquisition (Media shuttle, Latakoo)
  • Digitization of physical assets into the NBC Sports MAM
  • Managing the daily ingest of recorded events (pressers, shows, sporting events) and cataloguing appropriately
  • Monitoring & managing the storage levels of multiple work groups and work spaces
  • Providing daily support to Production in prioritizing asset restore requests in a timely period
  • Assisting Production in both the distribution and retrieval of content using various digital deliveries (Media Shuttle, Drop Box, etc.)
Basic Requirements
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to understand immediate issues and respond to meet day‑of‑air deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail and responsiveness skills
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays
Desired Characteristics
  • Bachelor’s degree in TV Production or related field or equivalent work experience
  • Experience with in a broadcast and/or post‑production environment
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment
  • Self‑motivated, capable of working independently but also alongside a team
  • Able to handle and prioritize a high volume of production requests within a timely period
