West Hartford Public Schools is seeking a long-term substitute in Technology & Engineering at Sedgwick Middle School from April through the end of the school year. With units in Construction, Transportation and Computer Science, candidates with technology and computer science experience are invited to apply.

Ideal applicants will hold or be eligible for a State of Connecticut Technology & Engineering teaching endorsement (047 Technology Education, PK–12).

• Planning engaging lessons and developing instructional materials and assessments
• Creating a welcoming and structured classroom environment
• Teaching assigned Technology & Engineering units from the program of studies
• Being a team player willing to work in a strong, collaborative environment
• Having strong technology skills in both Microsoft and the Google platform
