Job Coach Paraprofessional

West Hartford Public Schools seeks a candidate with a proactive and positive attitude for a full-time job coach paraprofessional at the Post-Secondary Program. Job coach paraprofessionals work with adolescents and young adults across a variety of settings in schools/classrooms, assigned vocational sites, and in the community. Lifting, walking, and other physical duties, including supporting students with activities of daily living, are associated with this position.

Candidate must be flexible, reliable, and must easily demonstrate effective interpersonal skills. This is a 10-month position with full benefits. Prior experience preferred. Paraprofessionals are expected to exhibit professionalism, punctuality, and attentiveness to job responsibilities at all times. Please include a current resume and 3 letters of recommendation dated within the last 365 days. Requirement:
High school education or GED. Salary: per paraprofessional contract.
