Extraordinary Needs Paraprofessional
West Hartford Public Schools seeks a candidate with a proactive and positive attitude to fill a position for a full-time Extraordinary Needs Paraprofessional at Braeburn Elementary School for the school year. Candidates must be patient, respectful, and flexible with effective interpersonal skills. This is a 10-month position with full benefits working in the special needs program to support students with behavioral, social and emotional concerns.
Lifting and other physical duties are associated with this position. Prior experience preferred. PMT training preferred. Paraprofessionals are expected to exhibit professionalism, punctuality, and attentiveness of job responsibilities at all times.
