Director, Finance

Responsibilities

• Lead a team in developing consolidated financial forecast communications, including board meeting presentations and financial analysis for senior leadership
• Prepare performance updates for equity owner management teams and key finance stakeholders
• Develop robust, data‑driven cash flow and dividend projections for ESPN equity owners
• Assist in driving finance transformation initiatives, including the integration of the ESPN P&L into a new finance system
• Lead and develop a team of professionals, with a focus on career development and a strong, positive team environment

• Minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration
• Dynamic leader and effective manager who leads by example
• Ability to drive change and challenge assumptions
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills combined with solid business and financial acumen
• Strong relationship‑building skills and a highly professional, client‑service orientation
• Ability to interact with all levels of management
• Flexible, special‑projects orientation coupled with strong multi‑tasking abilities
• High energy level and strong work ethic; self‑driven and results‑oriented
• Demonstrated track record of process improvement and best‑practice implementation
• MBA or CPA preferred (preferred qualification)
