We’re partnering with a fast-growing private wealth management firm seeking a Lead Financial Planner / Lead Advisor to take ownership of an established book of 100+ client relationships.
This role is ideal for a polished, planning‑first advisor who enjoys leading client relationships, building trust with high‑net‑worth clients, and delivering clear guidance across retirement, tax, estate, investment, and wealth transfer planning.
This is not just a servicing role. You’ll step into a visible leadership seat, work directly with sophisticated clients, mentor junior advisors, and help shape how the firm delivers advice as it continues to grow.
What You’ll Be Doing- Serve as the primary advisor for high‑net‑worth client relationships
- Lead comprehensive planning conversations across retirement, tax, estate, investments, and wealth transfer
- Take over and manage 100+ client relationships from firm leadership
- Build deep, long‑term relationships through proactive guidance and strong follow‑through
- Partner with CPAs, estate attorneys, investment teams, and other professionals
- Identify opportunities to retain, deepen, and grow client relationships
- Mentor Associate Advisors and Financial Planners
- Help improve the client experience, planning process, and service model
- CFP designation required
- 7+ years of financial planning or wealth management experience
- Experience working with high‑net‑worth clients
- Strong client management skills and polished communication style
- Strong understanding of holistic planning, not just investments
- Ability to explain complex strategies in a simple, confident way
- Experience mentoring junior advisors or planners preferred
- Background in an RIA, independent wealth firm, private wealth team, or planning‑focused advisory environment
- $135,000–$150,000 base salary
