Caregivers; PCA

Care at Home by JFS -

Several caregiving positions are immediately available in the Greater Hartford area for experienced caregivers. Weekday and weekend shifts are offered, with both part-time and full-time hours available.

• Caring and patient
• Excellent Time Management skills, Flexible and Reliable
• Experience in providing personal care in a home care setting
• Ability to provide engaging and safe care

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must have a valid driver’s license, vehicle and insurance
• Must have Hoyer exp.
• Minimum of 3 years of home care experience
• Self-directed and independent
• Alzheimer’s/Dementia experience is a plus

• Driving clients to appointments
• Assisting with bathing, dressing, and personal care
• Helping with transfers, mobility, and repositioning
• Providing oral, hair, skin, and nail care
• Incontinence care and toileting
• Assisting with feeding and PT exercises
• Offering socialization, engagement, and support
• Meal preparation and cooking
• Medication reminders
• Client laundry and light housekeeping
• Running errands and grocery shopping
• Maintaining a safe and comfortable home environment

• $17.00-$20.00 per hour
