Position Overview
Triumph is seeking a Lead Coordinator - Shipping and Receiving to support the overall leadership and daily operations of the warehouse in a fast paced aerospace environment. This role ensures safe, efficient, and compliant handling of aerospace parts, materials, and tooling. The position works closely with supply chain, quality, operations, and production teams to maintain inventory accuracy, support on time delivery, and uphold regulatory standards.
Responsibilities- Assist the Warehouse Manager in coordinating daily warehouse operations, including receiving, stocking, material movement, shipping, and kitting.
- Ensure compliance with aerospace industry standards, including AS9100, FAA, and company quality requirements.
- Maintain accurate inventory through cycle counts, audits, and root cause investigations of discrepancies.
- Oversee proper handling and storage of sensitive aerospace components, including serialized, traceable, or hazardous materials.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, efficiency, and inventory accuracy.
- Train, mentor, and direct warehouse associates, including assigning tasks and monitoring performance.
- Collaborate with production and planning to ensure timely material availability for manufacturing operations.
- Monitor warehouse KPIs such as on time delivery, accuracy, productivity, and safety compliance.
- Assist with maintaining warehouse layout, 5S standards, and material flow optimization.
- Act as backup to the Warehouse Manager during absences.
- 3–5 years of warehouse or supply chain experience; aerospace or defense industry preferred.
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar).
- Strong understanding of inventory control and warehouse best practices.
- Ability to read and interpret aerospace documentation (certifications, packing slips, BOMs, etc.).
- Knowledge of regulatory and quality requirements such as AS9100, DFARS, ITAR, or FAA guidelines.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem solving skills.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and work in a warehouse environment.
