Job Summary

As a Production Specialist, you’ll manage daily operations on the production floor. You’ll oversee a team of operators and technicians, ensuring that safety, quality, and productivity targets are met. Your hands‑on leadership will keep things running smoothly — from scheduling and training to troubleshooting and process improvement.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of production personnel, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to schedules
  • Monitor production output and quality, making adjustments as needed to meet standards and deadlines
  • Enforce safety policies and maintain a clean, organized work environment
  • Train new employees and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to team members
  • Troubleshoot equipment and process issues, escalating complex problems to maintenance or engineering as needed
  • Track attendance, approve timecards, and participate in performance reviews
  • Lead daily shift meetings, communicate goals, and report on key metrics
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute ideas for greater efficiency
  • Ensure all documentation is accurate and up to date (logs, reports, etc.)
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required;
    Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a related field a plus
  • 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, safety regulations, and quality control standards
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lead, motivate, and coach a diverse team
  • Problem‑solving mindset and ability to make quick decisions under pressure
  • Proficiency with basic computer applications (MS Office, ERP systems)
